Mr. Shawn Bartholomae has over 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including project management, negotiations, business development, corporate planning and technical and economic evaluation of oil and gas fields and prospects, both internationally and in the United States. Mr. Bartholomae has held a number of executive positions with various engineering and geophysical research programs.
Career of Shawn Bartholomae
His career began in 1989 with Reef Exploration Inc. Where he served as a Venture Capital Manager responsible for overseeing all fund raising operations for various oil and gas drilling programs, many of which led to new field discoveries. One particular discovery, located in South America, was sold for a substantial profit to Shell Oil.
From 1999 to present he has been owner, officer and operator of several oil and gas companies that have continued to successfully engage in oil and gas exploration, infield development and operations throughout the Southwest region of the United States. One notable accomplishment was his resourcefulness to strategically acquire Overriding Royalties contained within some 15,000 acres offshore in the Alaska Cook Inlet, a development that is presently underway. A highly respected reservoir engineering firm in Dallas, William Cobb & Associates, after completing a reservoir evaluation they have certified the estimated recoverable reserves of this project to be in excess of 170 Million Barrels of Oil and over 74.7 Billion Cubic Feet of Gas.
As a side note, Mr. Bartholomae is also a gun enthusiast. In fact, he is owner/managing member “ShotgunBlasters”, a gun company based in Carrollton TX. ShotgunBlasters designs and builds tactical shotguns for numerous applications such as hunting, law enforcement, military, security and home defense. ShotgunBlasters is a member of FFL Guard and holds an impeccable ATF compliance record that remains unblemished resulting in them holding numerous gun licenses.
